Kwa-Zulu Natal Schools - Water & Sanitation
An essential programme of infrastructure works across Kwa-Zulu Natal on the east coast of South Africa, providing sanitation infrastructure to rural schools in the province. The scheme involved the design of new Reinforced Concrete pits and the collection of rainwater from the roof.
Upminster Train Depot - London
A complete refurbishment of the existing Train stabling shed at Upminster & Ealing Common Depots in London. This particular design related to the new reinforced concrete ‘swimming pool‘ roads within the shed, including train arrestor and pit foundations.
Mixed use commercial/residential refurb'
A complete refurbishment of an unused building North West of London, involving the rehabilitation of an existing commercial restaurant on the ground floor and new residential units above. The scope included a full condition assessment survey of the existing structure, together with the design of new foundations, new flooring systems and critical structural interventions across the building.

Residential Refurbishment - London
A typical UK home renovation and extension project comprising of the removal of the internal Chimney stack and load bearing walls & the design of the new steel support frame; and new concrete foundations.
Shura Island - Red Sea (Saudi Arabia)
We are pleased to be have been involved in the prestigious ‘Shura Island’ project as part Red Sea Global’s programme of works in Saudi Arabia. Grayscale’s scope included the full structural design (Contractor’s design elements) of the steel winch frames supporting critical equipment inside Hotel central 01, including steel connection design, verification & BIM modelling from detailed design through to construction & fabrication drawings.
Surrey Muslim Centre - Structural Concept
Structural design concept for a new internal steel mezzanine floor to support the community expansion ambitions. The proposal included full general arrangement layout options and structural design concepts for the foundations and super structure; including the development of a construction methdology
Warehouse mezzanine floor - West London
A new internal mezzanine floor designed to increase the capacity of the floor area for an online retailer at their packaging & shipping centre in London. the scope included the full structural design of the steel frame and foundations including the provision of a goods lift.
